Cookoff Winners for 2007
Cookoff winners were 1st, John (Bubba) Coker of Hemingway; 2nd, Dewey Brewer, Jr. of Hemingway; 3rd. Jamie Altman of Johnsonville; 4th, Macajiah Williams of McClellenville; 5th, Ken Tanner of Johnsonville. The first prize was $2000.
Dewey Brewer, Jr. was also the winner in the “Anything But” category, which does not require the barbecue to be pork.

Winners in the Pro Division of the shag contest were 1st, Pat and Archer Joyce of Greensboro, NC; 2nd, Jessie and Anna Bradshaw of North Myrtle Beach; and 3rd, Steve and Patty Stacy of North Myrtle Beach.
