Other reasons to visit Hemingway, South Carolina

• The Rodeo is coming soon! Once again the Popes will host the County Line Arena's rodeo May 3 & 4, 2013 at 10405 County Line Rd, Hemingway, SC.
• Camp meeting time is just around the corner. Old fashioned gospel singing and preaching every day, May 19-24, 2013.
• Visit the Three Rivers Historical Society to research local history or your family tree. Or visit the society's  nearby Browntown Museum on any Saturday, 9-4. Comment or ask questions at the Friends of Browntown Facebook page
• Scott's BBQ is now online. They've been making news, first in The Weekly Observer, then in the NY Times!
  

Hemingway cares

• Caring and Sharing provides food and help with utility bills for qualified low income elderly and disabled persons. The Food Bank is open every Tuesday.
• The Pee Dee Chapter of the Boys and Girls Club has the Rick Goings club located on Lewis Road in Hemingway. It's the "positive place to be" for kids.
• Tara Hall home for troubled or abused boys gives them a good environment and helps them grow up well.
